Episode 4

Listen to Episode 4

In this Episode, we discuss a topic close to our hearts, the cost of Yarn. We know there are costs involved, but does it really cost $20.00 or more for fibers that come from our own comuunities? As we dive into this topic, we learn about the cost of running a shop, and through an interview with Linda Singley of Bearlin Acres, a small farm in rural Pennsylvania, about the costs involved for the farmer as well. There are more than you might think. I hope this podcast will give you a greater appreciation for the amount of work that goes into making and selling the fibers you love so much!!!

I enjoy the content of your podcast, but it is recorded so low in volume, that I can bearly hear it even with the volume at full. Please try to raise the volume, I am missing part of the show.

Thanks

We are continuing to work on the levels of the show, it is proving difficult to record at a loud enough level to hear without a lot of background air. Thank you for your comment!!

I believe in paying for yarns from local providers. I truly enjoy developing designs for local vendors also.
